Matthew Bryan hit 28 goals for Bacup Borough in 2017/18
Matthew Bryan’s 28 goals for Bacup Borough saw him scoop the Hallmark Security First Division player of the year.
Bryan, in his sixth year with Brent Peters’ side, was second top scorer in the division and won 20 man of the match of the awards from his 39 matches, including 14 in their last 16 matches.
He netted 28 of Bacup’s 65 goals and scored a goal every 1.5 matches.
The form of Bryan, who also manages the club’s Under-9s side, helped Bacup to a 17th placed finish in 2017/18.
