IT'S been a promising January transfer window so far for Burnley, with Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Aaron Lennon coming in, while James Tarkowski and Sean Dyche have signed new long-term contracts.
There could be more to come, but here's how the window has played out so far.
January 2: Aiden O’Neill is recalled from his loan spell at Fleetwood Town
January 4: Jimmy Dunne joins Accrington Stanley on loan
January 4: There’s big contract news at Turf Moor...
James Tarkowski signs a new long-term deal at Burnley. Had 18 months left and club had an option for further year I believe, but new deal fully deserved. Eases any potential pressure on club as well #twitterclarets

And Sean Dyche said the four-and-a-half year deal was an issue of 'fairness'.
January 5: Dyche reveals he has a 'good amount' of money to work with during January
January 9: Georges-Kevin Nkoudou becomes Burnley's first signing of the January window
How my new coach welcomed me to the club 😍😂😂 very happy to be here @BurnleyOfficial hope I will help as much as I can 💪🏾🚀💨 #Clarets pic.twitter.com/uYAaDpfDoF

January 11: Dyche offers an update on Scott Arfield's contract situation
January 13: The boss doesn't expect an instant impact from his new winger, but he impresses on debut at Crystal Palace
January 15: And here's what Nkoudou had to say about his plans at Burnley
January 17: Dan Agyei is back from Walsall, but off out on loan again...
I understand Blackpool are close to agreeing a loan deal for Burnley striker Dan Agyei. Deal should be wrapped up in the next day or two. They were keen in the summer before he signed on loan for Walsall.

January 18: Here's what Dyche had to say on his ongoing January search...
SD on transfers: ‘There’s certain things going on but it’s difficult to say they’re any closer. We’ll wait and see.’ #twitterclarets

It was bad news for O'Neill though...
Looks like Aiden O'Neill's loan move to Scunthorpe United has fallen through. Midfielder heading back to Turf Moor after Australia were knocked out of AFC U23 Championship in China #twitterclarets https://t.co/reAqfCYcWh

January 21: This one had us scratching our heads...
Chelsea linked with shock move for Ashley Barnes, but it's understood there's been no contact yet between the clubs #twitterclarets #cfc https://t.co/F3cMRjU6Eg

January 23: Aaron Lennon signs for Burnley, but that's not the big news of the day...
Sean Dyche has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Burnley. Massive news for the club. Full thoughts from manager coming soon #twitterclarets

January 27: Here's what Jack Cork had to say on what Lennon could bring to Turf Moor
January 29: Dyche admits late deals are unlikely
January 30: Moves for Joe Worrall and Rob Holding don't look promising...
Incomings looking increasingly unlikely at Burnley. Still understand Worrall from Forest won't be happening. Holding seems unlikely as well #twitterclarets
