DANNY Graham says Rovers’ unbeaten run has given them a belief they can always find a way back in to matches after rescuing a draw against Northampton Town.

But Graham admits it was more frustration for Rovers against the Cobblers as the sides shared a 1-1 draw for the second time in five weeks.

The 32-year-old scored his 10th goal of the season, and sixth in his last seven games at Ewood Park, to cancel out John-Joe O’Toole’s 12th minute opener for the visitors.

And Graham said: “When we go a goal down I never feel as though we’re out of the game.

“I always feel as though we can create chances and get chances to put it right.

“Over the last 17 games I think we’ve done that, it’s a great run we’re on and hopefully we can keep that going.”

Graham scored with 16 minutes to go, but despite Rovers’ pressure they couldn’t find a late winner for the second successive week to drop to third in the table.

And the striker added: “It was disappointing.

“In the second half I thought we penned them in and had enough chances to win it.

“Teams are going to make it tough for us because of the run that we’re on, especially at Ewood.

“They got the lead and that gave them something to hold on to.

“It was a disappointing result but there were a lot of positives, the unbeaten run continues and there’s 18 games to go.

“It wasn’t to be but it’s another game unbeaten and we go again on Tuesday night.

“We now need to focus on the next one.”

Rovers host Walsall tomorrow looking to get back to winning ways and move back in to the top two with Shrewsbury Town not in action.

Graham headed home the equaliser, latching on to Dominic Samuel’s cross and on moving in to double figures, he said: “It was an unbelievable ball by Dom, the keeper didn’t know whether to come or not and I managed to get on the end of it.

“When that goes in with 15 to go you think we were going to go on and win the game but it wasn’t to be.

“We stick together and go again on Tuesday.”

Charlie Mulgrew will undergo a scan today on the ankle injury which forced him off in Rovers’ draw with Northampton Town.

The skipper picked up the injury when falling awkwardly on his ankle 15 minutes in to the game, before being replaced by Amari’i Bell.

Of the injury to the skipper, Graham said: “He’s been fantastic for us this season and for Charlie to stay down and come off it can’t be too good.

“He’ll get 48 hours to see how his ankle reacts and then we’ll take things from there.

“But we have players that can come in and fill that gap and it will be a team effort between now and the end of the season so it will be a real team effort.”
