JOHN Coleman is not expecting to have Jordan Thorniley or captain Seamus Conneely available for tomorrow’s game at Grimsby.
The pair were missing for the home defeat to Crawley Town on December 23 and the Boxing Day defeat at Carlisle United after both were forced off in the 2-0 loss at Lincoln on December 16.
Conneely has aggravated a groin injury, while Thorniley is also suffering from a similar problem.
Erico Sousa made his return from a leg injury as a late substitute against Crawley but is a doubt for the Reds this weekend.
Coleman needs all hands on deck to try to arrest a run of five straight defeats in all competitions - four in the league.
But when asked about injuries he said: “Seamus Conneely, Jordan Thorniley, Erico (Sousa) is still struggling with a knock and we’ve just got one or two niggles so it’s not all perfect but we’ll patch them up and we’ll get through.”
