Nick Pope 6

First major mistake for the Clarets led to Gray’s opener but responded well and made some good second half saves.

Phil Bardsley 7

Booked for one lunge on Albrighton but defended well against a dangerous Leicester attack and cleared off the line.

James Tarkowski 5

Given a tough afternoon by the threat of Vardy and Mahrez in particular. The latter had the beating of him for pace.

Ben Mee 6

Solid enough against Leicester’s dangerous attackers but often exposed during the second half.

Stephen Ward 5

Pretty thankless task coming up against Mahrez but not his best afternoon of the season.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson 7 (Man of the Match)

On top form at the moment and his confidence is clear to see with his driving runs forward and appetite for running at defences. Could perhaps have done better with his second half chance but it was the Clarets most dangerous attacker after Brady’s departure.

Jack Cork 5

An off day for Burnley’s midfield and Cork struggled to impose himself on the game and get the ball moving.

Steven Defour 6

Passed fit to play but was withdrawn in the second half. Didn’t hit the heights he has done for most of the season.

Robbie Brady 7

Oozing confidence until the cruel injury which ended his afternoon early. Let’s hope for good news.

Jeff Hendrick 5

Difficult seeing his mate strethcered off but wasn’t at it after that. Gave the ball away and never looked a threat.

Chris Wood 5

Had a couple of half chances, just failing to control the ball for the best of them, but well marshalled by the Foxes defence.
