OFFICALS from an East Lancashire football club were treated in hospital after being involved in a car crash.
The car Padiham Football Club chairman Sean Astin, secretary Alan Smith, physio Zara Harrison and player Aurelian Ilustin Gohoreanu were travelling in on the M60 on Tuesday was hit from behind by a transit van.

They were on route to play West Didsbury and Chorlton in a Lancashire Challenge Cup second round tie. The match was later called off.
They were all taken to Tameside Hospital but suffered no serious injuries and were released a few hours later.
Padiham manager Steve Wilkes said: "It really shook me up when I heard about the accident but thankfully they are all safe and sound."
