PLANS for a Turf Moor facelift are expected to be unveiled within the next month.
Director Brendan Flood has reiterated that the Clarets have no intention of moving away from their famous stadium but said plans for major ground developments, centring around the two oldest sections - the Bob Lord Stand and David Fishwick (Cricket Field) Stand, are in the pipeline.
The millionaire businessman expects full details of the upgrade to be revealed in "three to four weeks", and he hopes the proposals will also have a positive impact on neighbours Burnley Cricket Club.
"The areas for improvement are obvious - the Cricket Field Stand and Bob Lord are older stands so those are the areas we are looking at. They are the outfacing stands," he said.
"We want to integrate with the cricket club. It's a unique asset, the cricket club with the football club. As a community we love our football and we love our cricket.
"We don't want to move the ground. I think that would be too big a change and the position of the ground isn't too bad. It's comparable with a lot of good clubs and a lot of good locations.
"It would be face changing, but it wouldn't be club changing. It would just be finishing off what's not done and giving us something where we can all be comfortable and sit back in our cosy seats for the next 30 years, and then we won't need to re-do anything for a while."
