UNSELFISH star Marvin Emnes is prepared to do anything to help out his team, according to Rovers boss Owen Coyle.
The Dutch striker arrived on loan from Swansea City on transfer deadline day and has since scored three goals and made three assists in 11 games in the blue and white shirt.

But while his manager is pleased with the threat 28-year-old Emnes carries going forward, especially when he gets one-on-one with a defender, he also admires his willingness to do whatever is asked of him to help Rovers get some much-needed points.
And Coyle insists that the former Sparta Rotterdam and Middlesbrough star is loving life in East Lancashire.
He said: “Emnes has been terrific. I thought he should have had a penalty in the first half against Nottingham Forest and when he gets one-on-one with people, you don’t really want to be a defender facing up to him.
“He’s loving being at the club and he’s another one I’d love to have here permanently.
“What we ask of him is when we lose the ball to drop in so he can receive it and go again, and that takes good levels of fitness.
“He’s capable, if you talk of numbers, of being a seven, a nine, an 11 and a 10.
“We play him predominantly as a 10, but when it’s important to stop the ball coming into the box from those wider areas, Marvin is quite happy to go and help the team.
“He’s also capable of scoring from anywhere. He often finds himself in some deep positions and he’s terrific running with the ball, whether that’s from a wide area or from a central area.”
Emnes’ deal at Ewood Park runs out on January 15 and Coyle has already said he would like to have him permanently.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph earlier this month: “Marvin is one I would like to sign.
“He comes out of contract next year and he’s one I’ve always been a big admirer of for a number of years.”
But until any deal is done, he will just have to get the most out of the forward, who has forged a promising partnership with fellow loan man Sam Gallagher Coyle added: “Sam and Marvin are different in many respects, and the same in many respects.
“In the build-up to Sam’s first goal against Nottingham Forest, Emnes was involved.”
