ACCRINGTON Stanley have signed 26-year-old striker Roscoe D'Sane.

Reds boss John Coleman clinched the deal for the former Aldershot forward last night, securing his services on a 12-month contract.

Coleman said "He is a player that we have been aware of for some time."

D'Sane scored 21 goals for AFC Wimbledon last season after recovering from a knee operation the previous year.

He joins midfielder Paul Carden, striker John Miles and goalkeeper Kenny Arthur who have all made switches to the Fraser Eagle Stadium as Coleman looks to build a squad of 21 ahead of the new League Two season.

Coleman has also been in negotiations with two centre-halves and is looking to strike deals for the pair later this week.

One of the defenders is Scottish-based and is set to arrive at Stanley for a medical in the next day or two, with a view to making a free transfer switch. A bid has also been tabled for a Northern-based defender.

Coleman is also looking at the possibility of bringing Godwin Antwi back on loan, although the Ghanian's situation won't be made clear until Liverpool resume training.
