Andy Todd's future at Blackburn Rovers could be resolved at some point later this week, according to his agent Peter Harrison.
The 32-year-old defender has been told by manager Mark Hughes that he can leave this summer, providing a club meets Rovers' valuation of him.
Several clubs - including newly-promoted Sunderland - are interested in signing the former Bolton and Charlton centre-back, who has slipped down the pecking order at Ewood following the signings of Chris Samba and Stephane Henchoz, and a move could materialise in the next seven days.
Harrison said: "We're still talking to a number of clubs so we'll see what comes of it."
