GARY Keedy hailed big-hitting Brad Hodge after the Australian star slammed his third unbeaten Friends Provident Trophy ton of the season to guide Lancashire to victory at Derbyshire.
Hodge blasted 119 off 134 balls, including 12 fours and four sixes, as Lancashire chased down Derby's 232 all out at the County Ground.
Earlier in the season, the World Cup winner had cracked centuries against Northants and Yorkshire.
"Hodgey showed what a class player he is with the way he built his innings. That was a lesson for everybody," said Keedy, who took 3-43 against Derbyshire.
Steven Mullaney, who came into a changed Lightning side, also took three wickets.
Keedy added: "Even though we are out of the competition, it's nice to win a game. It sets you up for your next game."
