LOWERHOUSE missed the opportunity to go top of the Lancashire League after they were beaten by Haslingden.
The top-of-the-table match between leaders Ramsbottom and champions Burnley was abandoned, meaning Lowerhouse could have climbed to the summit with a victory at Bentgate.
But the home side prevailed by 27 runs in a game that was reduced to 20 overs.
Paddy Martin took 5-51 as Haslingden closed on 121-7. Phil Hayes top-scored with 34, while Alex Coleman hit an unbeaten 33 and Lewis McIntosh added 13.
In reply, home professional Babar Naeem took 5-48 and Lewis McIntosh 2-39 as Haslingden restricted Lowerhouse to 94-7. Dieter Klein top-scored with 39 while Chris Bleazard contributed with 19.
Elsewhere, Rishton thrashed Bacup by 158 runs at Lanehead.
Rishton professional Shaun Von Berg hit an unbeaten 113 while Brad Boddie added 49 as the visitors posted 213-8. Haseeb Azam and Matt Thompson both picked up three wickets.
Kelly Mall then took a stunning 6-18 and Von Berg picked up 4-31 as the hosts were skittled out for 55. Bacup lost nine wickets for 16 runs with a last-wicket partnership adding 24.
Nelson comfortably beat Enfield by 108 runs at Seedhill.
Home professional Ryan Bailey hit an unbeaten 109, while contributions from Harrison Phelan (53), Lewis Bradley (22) and Russell Bradley (12) saw Nelson post 231-5 in 43 overs. Lewis Wright and Simon O’Loughlin both picked up two wickets for Enfield.
Harrison Phelan (3-14) and Toxy Hussain (3-35) then did the damage with the ball as Nelson bowled out the visitors for 123. Adam Bracewell top-scored with 28.
Church were also winners as professional Zain Abbas hit 71 in a total of 144-6 to see them to a 11-run win over Colne, while Todmorden beat Accrington by 10 runs.
The match between East Lancs and Rawtenstall was abandoned.
