MATT Jansen’s Chorley stunned AFC Fylde with a sensational 3-2 National League North comeback win.
Chorley were two down inside the opening 10 minutes but the Magpies responded, Jack Lynch heading home on 21 minutes and Jordan Connerton levelling before the break.
And Andy Bond won it for the Magpies on 69 minutes.
Elsewhere, Ramsbottom suffered a 4-0 defeat to Salford City to remain bottom of the Evo-Stik League Premier Division.
Chorley boss Matt Jansen said: "It shows how good we are.
"We dominated a team that is up there fighting for the title."
Ramsbottom were three down at the interval after Richie Allen scored a quickfire brace before Padiham’s Gareth Seddon made it three before half time.
Former Chorley forward Josh Hine completed the scoring.
Meanwhile, Nelson secured a superb 3-1 North West Counties League Premier Division win over Silsden.
Nelson fell behind inside the opening three minutes but Adam Nuttall levelled on 37 minutes before Waqas Azam put the Admirals in front shortly before the interval.
And Nuttall added his second of the game to ensure all three points for Paul Fildes’ side.
