BARNOLDSWICK Town's run in the West Riding County Cup is over after Stewart Airdrie's side suffered a 6-1 reverse at National League North side Harrogate Town on Tuesday night.
Barlick, who had upset Harrogate Railway Athletic in the previous round, found the step up in class too tough a proposition in front of a crowd of 97.
Dominic Knowles put the home side ahead but James Crorken levelled for Barlick on 18 minutes.
Parity only lasted seven minutes before Jordan Thewlis restored Harrogate's advantage. Knowles added a third from the penalty spot before Andy Gascoigne made it four before the break.
Gascoigne added a second from the spot three minutes after the interval before Lewis Turner completed the scoring with eight minutes to go.
Barlick are back in league action on Saturday when they make the trip to Maine Road.
