STEVEN Burke helped Great Britain qualify fastest for Thursday's men's team pursuit final at the European Track Cycling Championships in Switzerland.
The Team GB quartet of Burke, from Colne, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Andy Tennant and Owain Doull scorched to a time of 3minutes 57.277 seconds in Grenchen.
That saw them top the time sheets for the final with Burke playing a leading role in the fast paced start before peeling off towards the end of the run.
Home favourites Switzerland qualified second fastest ahead of France and Russia.
