THERE’S a full-house entry for this weekend’s Taybridge Clitheronian Road Rally.
Organisers Clitheroe DMC have laid on a 170-mile course, which starts from the Blackburn with Darwen M65 Services, and have been rewarded with a quality entry of nearly 50 crews.
“We are very happy to have filled the entry and would like to thank our sponsor Stephen Taylor of Taybridge Construction for his continued support and to Simon Boardman of Grange Lane Garage Accrington for his marshals draw prize.
“I would like to emphasise that this is a no-spectator event and no information will be available at the start.”
Top seeds are Martin and Rob Lloyd in their BMW Compact, with Dan Willan/Martyn Taylor (Proton Satria) at car two.
Myles Gleave and Jason Crook round off the top three in their peugeot 205 GTi.
Newly-crowned HRCR champion Steve Entwistle starts at car 11 in the Orangebox Mini. Reunited with Bob Hargreaves as a one-off outing, Entwistle will be looking to tie up the ANWCC Championship this weekend with a good result.
