BURNLEY chairman Michael Brown has issued an ominous warning to the Lancashire League insisting his side are ready to do it all again next year having claimed the quadruple this season.
The Turf Moor men became the first side in the history of the league to clinch the Ron Singleton Trophy, the Twenty20, the Worsley Cup and the league title when they added the latter to their trophy cabinet on Saturday.

And although the newly-crowned champions were beaten by Lowerhouse on Sunday, Brown insists that the motivation is there for his squad to try to emulate their record-breaking achievements come the 2016 campaign.
“It’s just been one of those seasons really,” he said.
“You go into a season thinking you can win every game, but the history books will tell you it doesn’t usually work out like that. Fortunately for us we have a really good squad of players and good strength in depth and we managed to do it. It is a great achievement.”
And Brown said he was hopeful of keeping the bulk of the squad together for 2016 when Burnley will undoubtedly be favourites to retain their league crown.
“I don’t anticipate losing too many of the players from this season,” he said.
“Hopefully we will have a similar squad for next year and try to do it all again.
“We want to go out and try to achieve what we have achieved this season again. It won’t be easy though.
“History shows it is a lot harder to defend your title and everyone will want to beat us and take the champions down, but we have a good squad of players here.
“Having said that, I am sure the other teams will improve next year as well.”
Burnley clinched the title on Saturday when they defeated Haslingden and closest challengers Ramsbottom lost to Accrington by 64 runs.
Burnley were then beaten on Sunday by Lowerhouse in their first game as champions.
