NORTH West Counties League Premier Division leaders Colne host AFC Darwen tonight in an East Lancashire derby clash.
Colne have won both their league fixtures so far and also breezed past Barnoldswick Town in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary round on Saturday.
Steve Cunningham’s men will be heavy favourites against newly-promoted Darwen, who are without a win in their opening two games since promotion last time around. The Salmoners also exited the FA Cup on Saturday.
In the Evo-Stik League Premier Division Ramsbottom United are at home to Buxton as they seek their first points of the new season following an opening day defeat to Rushall Olympic.
Clitheroe are also in action as they head to Droylsden hoping to make it two wins from two in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
Simon Garner’s men beat Prescot Cables 3-1 on the opening day and could climb to the top of the table if they could follow it up with a second straight success.
