RIBBLESDALE Wanderers’ professional Ryan Canning smashed an unbeaten 106 in earning a four-wicket win over Earby in a high-scoring game.
Earby set an impressive 229-8 from their innings (Chris Walton 71, Ian Britcliffe 5-57), but unbeaten scores of 106 for professional Ryan Canning and 59 for Mick Clarkson made the job of chipping away at the target look almost effortless, as Wanderers ended on 232-6.

In contrast, Brooksbottom could only manage to make 79 against Euxton, although their opponents made hard work of the chase, losing six wickets.
Oswaldtwistle Immanuel’s Dan double-act of Sartori and Metcalf spelled double trouble for Edenfield.
Sartori hit 160 and Metcalf 72 as Ossy posted a whopping 310-6.
Paul Gallagher scored 58 in Edenfield’s reply, but it was pretty much a solo act as Andreas Sudnik claimed outstanding bowling figures of 8-57 to secure a 149-run win.
Settle cruised to a nine-wicket win over Barnoldswick (195), thanks largely to Asif Fazal’s 5-50 and an unbeaten knock of 67.
Clitheroe (175-7) beat Cherry Tree (174) by three wickets. Bilal Ahmed top scored with 59.
In another high-scoring game, Read (254-4 – Keegan Petersen 144 not out) beat Baxenden (234-6 – Liam Watkinson 58) by 20 runs.
Great Harwood (208-4) beat Salesbury (169) by 39 runs, and Whalley (149) beat Brinscall (120) by 29 runs.
