ENFIELD captain Adam Bracewell celebrated a "great win" over Lowerhouse at the weekend, but fears it could come back to bite them on Saturday.
The Dill Hall Lane side caused an upset at the top of the Lancashire League with their 70-run win over the defending champions.
But with the teams set to lock horns again in just a few days' time, in the Worsley Cup quarter finals, captain Bracewell has concerns about the threat to their own ambitions.
"Everyone who plays in the Lancashire League wants to play in a Worsley Cup final," he said.
"I've played since I was 16 so this will be my 15th season and the furthest I've got is the semi-final.
"It's a big one on our agenda, along with the 20/20.
"But we've got Lowerhouse again. They've got a good cup history and they will come at us hard because they will be smarting from the weekend."
But with Enfield becoming only the second team to beat last year's Lancashire League winners this season, Bracewell is determined to enjoy the occasion, and make it a double celebration when the teams go head-to-head for the second time in less than a week.
"It's always good to beat Lowerhouse," he said.
"They're a good side so it was a great win for us.
"We struggled early on, losing a couple of early wickets and we lost the pro for no runs. But we said before the game that if we could get 200 runs we'd stand a good chance of winning."
Bracewell led by example, hitting eight fours and four sixes on his way to 80 from just 97 balls.
Enfield were 115-6 when Bracewell bowed out, but an eighth-wicket partnership between Tiarnan Hamill and Joe Wrigley pushed them over the 200 barrier.
"That gave us momentum and we bowled and fielded well, as we have done all season," said the skipper.
"We had a blip at Todmorden when they got 320, but even then we didn't bowl badly, their pro just had one of those days with the bat.
"Other than that we've done well, and we've had a good record at home too so hopefully we will be able to use home advantage again this weekend."
Attentions return to league action on Sunday when Enfield host Bacup.
"That should be a good game," said Bracewell.
"Their pro is a good player and they have a couple of decent amateurs but it's a game we will be looking to win.
"We're just enjoying playing at the moment. We're not getting carried away with ourselves - we're just happy to keep going and trying to keep winning."
