THE top two in the Ribblesdale League meet tonight in a clash of the titans in the league's Twenty20 competition.
League leaders Settle will be out to maintain their perfect start to the shorter format having won their opening fixture last weekend while league champions Clitheroe will hope to strike what could be a psychological blow in the title race by getting one over their rivals.
The group two clash gets underway at 6.15pm at Chatburn Road with the match Clitheroe's first in the competition this season.
In the group's other tie Padiham travel to Ribblesdale Wanderers with both sides beaten in their opening fixtures seven days ago.
Group leaders Read are without a fixture tonight.
The top two teams in group three meet at New Lane as Oswaldtwistle Immanuel host Edenfield with one 100 per cent record certain to end.
The group's other match sees Great Harwood make their debut in this year's competition with a clash against Baxenden.
Brooksbottom, bottom of that group, have a free week.
Group one leaders Salesbury are on the road at Brinscall while bottom of the table Euxton host Cherry Tree.
Feniscowles are without a fixture.
