GARY Bowyer was keeping tight-lipped yesterday on which of his walking wounded will be fit for Leeds United tomorrow.

But the Blackburn Rovers boss did say Brockhall was ‘buzzing’ again after back-to-back defeats before the international break ensured a marathon run of matches ended on a low.

“The place is buzzing again, you really get that sense of freshness from them,” said Bowyer.

“We had 13 games in 43 days leading up to the break and the restrictions we’re under with the embargo took its toll because we weren’t able to bring many players in.

“We’ve only brought four loan players in all season and come the end of the run the players were running on empty.

“So we shut the place down for a couple of days and everybody has come back refreshed and we’ve picked up some good news in the sense that we’ve got one or two back.

“So it’s been a good break for us and we’re looking forward to finishing the season strongly now.”

Josh King returned to training at the start of the week.
