DAVID Lloyd Chorley 1 are just two games away from completing a season-long clean sweep of victories.
The recently crowned North West Counties Squash League Division One champions marched ominously towards achieving that 100 per cent record with a 20-0 victory at Warrington 1 - their second successive ‘whitewash’ win.
Having beaten Crewe Vagrants 1 by the same scoreline the previous week, DL Chorley showed no signs of a let-up after they breezed past fifth place Warrington.
Chorley number one, James Earles, dropped just 13 points - 10 in the final game - as he beat Jim Brown 11-1, 11-2, 12-10.
Danny Massaro was pushed all the way by James Connor before sealing an 11-8, 11-7, 11-8 win while club captain, Chris Lengthorn - who lead DL Chorley to their and his first title - was in top form beating Peter Astbury 11-4, 11-4, 11-4.
Young Isaac Rawcliffe (pictured with Massaro) beat Steve Glenton, 11-9, 11-4, 11-9, before Charlie Cowie made a clean sweep, beating Matt Uren11-4, 11-8, 11-3 .
David Lloyd Chorley host Grove Park 1 tonight then go to Heswall 1 next Tuesday looking for the wins that would seal a stunning season.
