SATURDAY is a cup final for our lads and we need the supporters there.
I can't emphasise how big this game is and what I've been telling the players in training this week is this is like winning the Conference all over again.
Last season we had to win games to get into the Football League and this year we've got nine games to stay there.
We can't even think what the consequences of going back down would be for the club and the town.
That's why letting the supporters in for free is such a fantastic gesture.
It was something John Coleman, myself and the chairman spoke about on the way back home from Swindon.
We didn't want to dwell on what happened there and we were thinking what we could do to lift the team and the supporters. Hopefully we can get a buzz back to the stadium, because it hasn't been there this season.
We haven't had the backing, not so much from the supporters who have turned out faithfully week in week out, we haven't had the support from the town that we've had over the last few years.
We're usually at the other end of the table pushing for promotion.
But this is the same sort of scenario. We need the backing of the town.
We're not the richest club in the league by any stretch, and this is going to end up costing the club quite a bit so I think this is fantastic.
If we get 3000 or 4000 fans all pushing and cheering us on it can make the Fraser Eagle Stadium a very intimidating place to come and I don't think it has been like that all season.
That's down to the players and the management and we've got to take it on the chin, but this is a great gesture and a great chance to get the whole town behind us at a time when we need them the most.
