IT was mixed emotions for me throughout Tuesday night's game.
The most overwhelming emotion was one of relief at the end, when Shaun Whalley scored our late equaliser.
It was an absolutely massive point. Obviously, there was a chance to go five points clear of Boston, but we are three points ahead and our superior goal difference gives us that extra point.
It's not a bad situation for us, but it's going to be very tight until the end.
As soon as Shaun scored, I actually felt there was another goal in us.
But I don't think Bristol Rovers did enough to win the game.
To be honest, I thought it had 0-0 written all over it.
We were asking all the questions and they didn't look like threatening a goal until they caught us out.
We did our homework and watched Rovers a couple of times. We knew they don't concede a lot of goals, so it was going to be very hard work.
They had two chances after going 1-0 up because we over-committed players, pressing for an equaliser.
But we had to change things around to force the issue - and it worked.
Shaun is an impact player and can come up with things like that.
David Brown came on - to go up front alongside Andy Mangan and Paul Mullen - and he's got a point to prove, although anybody who comes off the bench has points to prove.
We just have to pull together in the same direction. We had a team meeting this week and everybody came to the conclusion that, to get out of the trouble we're in, we have to stick together.
That's a big thing for us. That's the way forward and the lads are right behind us.
We also need the crowd to get right behind us.
We've got five massive home games left and we cannot afford to have the crowd the way they were on Tuesday night. It was very quiet.
For me, John and the chairman, that's poor because we've had the good times and always had something to play for at this stage of the season, for example, at this time last year.
We are really working hard and it would be massive for the club to stay in this league.
It's no guarantee that we will stay up, so we need the fans more than ever at this crucial stage of the season.
