QUEEN Elizabeth’s Grammar School ‘emerged’ as winners at a table tennis tournament targeted at those players who don’t play the game at county level.
The Blackburn and Darwen Emerging Schools event was held at Pleckgate High School and it was aimed at those players who don’t attend the Lancashire Schools Championship held every year at St Bede’s Teams from QEGS, Pleckgate, St Wilfrid’s and Blackburn Central played a round robin format with QEGS ending as comfortable winners with Pleckgate runners-up.
