FIGHTERS from Fit2XL Boxing Club had a night to remember at a sell out show at Beechwood Working Men’s Club.
There was a total of 12 great bouts with junior and senior fighters on show - the youngest being 10-years-old with the oldest 28.
Clubs came to Blackburn from all over the Manchester area and Yorkshire to compete against the Fit2XL boxers.
Former club member, Ajmal Faizy, who has since turned professional was the star guest and handed out the trophies on the evening.
He will be on the bill when professional boxing returns to King George’s Hall on April 4.
Fit2XL head coach, Ray Riddell said it was an entertaining evening of boxing.
“All of the boxers were well behaved following which was the ingredients for a very successful and enjoyable show,” said Riddell. “It was good for Ajmal to come along.
“He is having a very successful professional career so far.”
