ON-FIRE Blackburn Rovers top-scorer Jordan Rhodes has been labelled a model professional who is a pleasure to play with.
That was the verdict of strike-partner Chris Brown after he watched Rhodes plunder two goals against Charlton Athletic for the second time this season in Saturday’s 3-1 victory at the Valley.

The hitman’s double strike hauled him up to 16 for the campaign – four of which have come in his last three league games – and came at the end of a week when there was intense speculation over his future.
Brown, who produced another hardworking performance against the Addicks, never had any doubt Rhodes would remain unaffected by the transfer talk.
He said: “Jordan’s one of the best professionals you’ll ever meet and he’s showed in the last three games that what he does, he does best.
“It’s no coincidence that he’s in the right place at the right time and it’s a pleasure to play with him.
“He’ll always give his 100 per cent for us.”
