Tom Heaton 8
Called into action a few times but the saves were mostly comfortable, although his handling was impeccable
Kieran Trippier 7
Showed great energy to get up and down the right hand side and wasn’t troubled too much defensively, with City rarely going down that flank
Michael Duff 9
A magnificent return. Reads the game so well and was one step ahead of Dzeko for most of the game
Jason Shackell 9
A true captain’s performance. Looked better with Duff back alongside him and the pair of them were superb
Ben Mee 8
In his best vein of form all season at the moment, dealt very well with the pace of Navas. Lucky not to concede penalty though
George Boyd 9
Took his goal brilliantly. Always tried to provide an option on the ball and covered plenty of ground once again
Scott Arfield 9
Outstanding in central midfield. A performance summed up by his second half swerve to leave Yaya Toure befuddled
David Jones 8
Strong performance defensively and always in the faces of Yaya Toure and Fernandinho as he set the tone for the Clarets
Ashley Barnes 7
Plenty of endeavour as you have to expect. Played in an unusual position for him but worked hard to help Mee and get into the box
Sam Vokes 9
His first Premier League start of the season and he gave Demichelis a torrid time, winning almost every ball that came his way
Danny Ings 7
His touch showed his quality once again, but guilty of choosing the wrong option in attack on a couple of occasions
Substitutes Stephen Ward for Vokes (86) Steven Reid for Ings (90)
Not used: Matt Gilks, Michael Keane, Ross Wallace, Michael Kightly, Lukas Jutkiewicz.
