SEAN Dyche praised his Burnley players after feeling they were full value for their shock 1-0 win over Manchester City.
George Boyd’s superb 61st-minute goal gave the Clarets a vital victory in their battle against the drop.
Dyche said: “Overall I thought we edged it.
“It was close game, why wouldn’t it be against players of that calibre?
“But I’m obviously delighted with the outcome and overall delighted with the performance.
“Today is a day when all the details were done properly and correctly, no need for fortune or luck.
“It encapsulates all the hard work and focus we put on the details, but also I think the players are improving and learning at this level.”
Asked about Boyd's goal, he said: "It's a magnificent strike, he's got that, we know that, it was a clean strike and fantastic technical strike."
