BLACKBURN Rovers will be without stand-in skipper Matt Kilgallon for today’s Championship clash at in-form Charlton Athletic.
Kilgallon misses out with a minor hip injury and is replaced in Gary Bowyer’s starting line-up by Alex Baptiste.
Baptiste, who was ineligible to play against his parent club Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday, will partner the on-loan Doneil Henry in the centre of defence.
Rovers boss Bowyer, whose side are chasing their third straight league victory, is also without Markus Olsson after he came off against Bolton with a tight hamstring.
His place is taken by Tommy Spurr.
Midfielder Corry Evans also limped off on Wednesday, with a dead leg, and he is fit enough only for a place on the bench.
His replacement, Lee Williamson, will also captain Rovers in the absence of Kilgallon and Grant Hanley.
Charlton, who have won five of their last six league matches, make two changes.
Igor Vetokele and Tal Ben Haim take the places of Joe Gomez Christophe Lepoint.
Charlton: Henderson, Solly, Fox, Johnson, Ben Haim, Gudmundsson, Buyens, Cousins, Bulot, Watt, Vetokele. Subs: Dmitrovic, Wilson, Gomez, Bikey-Amougou, Eagles, Diarra, Church.
Rovers: Steele, Henley, Baptiste, Henry, Spurr, Conway, Williamson, Cairney, Marshall, Brown, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Songo’o, Lenihan, Evans, Spearing, Taylor, Gestede.
