MATT Taylor will not be involved in the Burnley squad for tomorrow’s Turf Moor clash with champions Manchester City, despite coming through a second reserve team game this week.
The 33-year-old has been out since the end of August due to an Achilles injury but is now back in training with the first-team.

He has played 45 minutes and 70 minutes for the second string, but Clarets chief Sean Dyche insists the former West Ham man needs more game time for the development squad before being thrown back into first-team action.
“He got 70 minutes in a game, that’s his second game,” said Dyche.
“When you’ve been out that length of time, even with his experience and his know-how of the game, and his ups and downs with injury, he still needs time.
“He’s training well with us and he’s free of injury at the moment so we’ll continue that and see how quickly he can get back in the reckoning.”
