NEW Gardeners clinched the Division One title in the Blackburn Sunday League with a thrilling 4-2 win over Intack.
They won it the hard way after being reduced to 10 men after just 15 minutes but a Lewis Hamlin hat-trick and one from Andy Sullivan took the title to Darwen.
Elsewhere, Mill Hill moved into second spot with a 4-2 win over Clifton.
In Division Two Crown Paints clinched promotion to the top tier with an emphatic win over Brown Cow and now need just one win to be crowned champions.
That comes after second placed Stanhill could only manage a draw 3-3 with Hare & Hounds.
Station took advantage to close the gap with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Anchor.
Helmshore Harriers and Great Harwood Rovers shared the spoils in a entertaining 1-1 draw, while Whinney Hill Colts got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Baggies Wine Bar.
Stanley Ultras brought the curtain down on their first season in the league by clinching the Division Three title with a 1-0 win over Hyndburn Youth, Brown Cow Olympic moved into second spot with an excellent 4-2 over long time promotion favourites Prince of Wales.
Promotion hopefuls Oswaldtwistle Immanuel slipped to a shock 3-0 defeat against Sunnybank and Gastec Celtic lost 4-0 to Rishton Rangers.
Stanley Ultras rounded off a great first season having been awarded the team of the month award for February, while Sunnybank, also from Division Three, won the fair play award.
Both teams will win vouchers for £35 and £40 respectively, Blackburn & Darwen sports council and Colborne trophies sponsor the Fair Play award while AMT Lawyers sponsor the team of the month.
