BLACKBURN Rovers have made seven changes for this afternoon’s FA Cup quarter-final with Liverpool at Anfield.
Goalkeeper Simon Eastwood, fit-again centre-back Alex Baptiste, left-back Markus Olsson, midfielders Corry Evans, Tom Cairney and Craig Conway, and striker Rudy Gestede come into the side that started and finished Wednesday’s hard-fought Championship win at Sheffield Wednesday.
Jason Steele, Doneil Henry, Tommy Spurr, Chris Taylor, Jordan Rhodes and Chris Brown drop to the bench with former Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing cup-tied.
The in-form Matt Kilgallon will captain Rovers in Grant Hanley’s continued absence.
Liverpool, who remain without injured skipper Steven Gerrard, make two changes to the team that started their 2-0 win over Burnley on Wednesday.
The win extended the Reds' unbeaten home run to 13 matches and meant they have now taken maximum points from nine of their last 11 Premier League games.
Glen Johnson and Lazar Markovic replace Alberto Moreno and Joe Allen.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson, Markovic, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge. Subs: Ward, Toure, Lambert, Moreno, Sakho, Balotelli, Williams.
Rovers: Eastwood, Henley, Baptiste, Kilgallon, Olsson, Marshall, Evans, Williamson, Conway, Cairney, Gestede. Subs: Steele, Spurr, Brown, Rhodes, Taylor, Henry, Lenihan.
