HOW many points do you think Burnley will need to finish with to survive in the Premier League this season?
Andrew Greenwood
THEY always say you need 35 to 40 points to stay up but I can see this season being different.
The bottom four or five just don’t seem to be picking many points up so it could well be a lower total.
A few of the bottom clubs play each other in the near future, so I just hope we are still in with a shout after our tough run of games.
Andrew Kerin
AT least three wins from the games against Leicester, Hull, Stoke and Villa and four draws from our remaining 11 fixtures would give us 35 points.
If we can beat Leicester and Hull, and draw with Villa, 35 points should be enough - given that we would be taking points from our relegation rivals and none of them seem capable of going on a run of form to get themselves out of trouble.
We’ve only won four in 22 games so to win three in 11 is a big ask but I genuinely believe we are capable of doing it.
Unfortunately we can’t afford to lose more than four more games. With Spurs, Arsenal, City, Southampton and Liverpool to play that will difficult but not impossible!
