SWANSEA came to Turf Moor and were very business-like from start to finish.
The Clarets looked very lethargic for the 90 minutes and only threatened the Swans keeper sporadically.
We had old boy Jack Cork, who I thought was tremendous when he wore the claret and blue, back at Turf Moor and he played a big part in Swansea’s winner, which proved the only goal of the game.

It was a soft goal to give away and I can only hope it never happens again.
Ashley Barnes got a tremendous reception from the Clarets fans after being labelled a villain last week for his challenge on Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic. And Ashley was the closest to getting on the scoresheet when he forced a save from Lukasz Fabianski.
The lack of goals is starting to worry me. We have scored 25 and conceded 45. This is why we are languishing in the bottom three of the table at the moment.
We aren’t creating enough chances and it’s costing us dearly in the fight for survival.
I think it is still possible, but we must start picking up points against the teams around us to stand a better chance.
Our performances and results earned away to big teams like Manchester City, Newcastle and Chelsea suggest there is no shortage of belief within the squad that we can go and pit ourselves against these types of teams.
Anfield, tonight, is another big stage.
We have not shown any fear in such environments and hopefully that will stand us in good stead.
We’re just slipping up against the teams we seem more likely to get points from, and that needs to stop.
It’s tough when you’re down there. I was lucky, I never had a relegation in my whole career, but I imagine you’ve got to be mentally tough as well as physically tough.
You’ve got to have players around you on the same wavelength.
