CLITHEROE coach Jordan Allen admits he was delighted by new goalkeeper Peter Collinge as the Blues extended their unbeaten run to four games with a 1-1 draw against Burscough on Saturday.
Collinge joined from Evo-Stik League Division One North rivals New Mills and made his debut in the draw while midfielder Joey Lynch also pulled on a Clitheroe shirt for the first time having moved from AFC Fylde.
“Peter Collinge played well, he kept us in the game a few times in the first half,” Allen told the club’s official website.
“I was very impressed by Joey. For a smallish lad he gets his body in well and is direct. He’s tidy on the ball.”
