SEAN Dyche has praised his Burnley side after they ended their long wait for a Premier League win by beating Hull City 1-0 at Turf Moor.
Ashley Barnes scored the only goal of the game as the Clarets took three points in the top flight at the 11th time of asking this season.
"I thought first half we were excellent," said Dyche, "some of our play was very good, we had enough chances to be certainly one, if not two to the good. Our defensive shape was good, it has been a few times this season and you go in at half time and think is that one of those games again?
"We kept the back door closed pretty well first half, and most of the game actually. Then it’s a good bit of play, a fantastic cross from Kieran, a good header and you’re 1-0 up then it’s just finding the freedom to keep playing, which we did in patches, but we found it a bit nervy in others, but it’s totally understandable."
