DAVID Jones believes this Burnley side has the strongest team spirit of any squad he has been involved in during his nomadic career.
The 30-year-old is a veteran of previous Premier League relegation battles with Derby, Wolves and Wigan, but he is convinced this is the tightest group has he been a part of.

The midfielder has also had spells at Manchester United, Preston, NEC Nijmegen in Holland, Oldham and Blackburn, so he has been in plenty of dressing rooms down the years.
None match up to the spirit that he is loving being a part of at Turf Moor though.
“Last year was a special year for that for me personally,” said Jones, “I felt that was the strongest team spirit and squad I’ve been involved in.
“I’d say that this year in the Premier League we’ve added players to the squad who have added to that, added to the quality, added to the feeling in the dressing room and we’re a squad moving forward, that’s for sure.”
Results on the pitch might not back that up, with the Clarets still searching for a first Premier League win of the season as Hull City visit Turf Moor today, but Jones sees no reason to panic just yet.
“The support has been brilliant but it’s only natural,” he said of panic possibly setting in, “your 10 games in and you haven’t got a win, it’s the natural way, the obvious question is can you win in the Premier League and can you play well in the Premier League?
“As players that is asked of us because last year we were in the Championship and a lot of players haven’t played in the Premier League in our squad. People say you’ve got a must win game on Saturday, but then I ask the question that there is a possibility we won’t win, what happens then? You go into hiding do you?
“In terms of that that’s why I’m saying there’s no panic, because you don’t play good football when you panic, and that’s the message the manager has been spreading throughout the squad.”
Jones was a member of the Derby County side that set unwanted Premier League records as they were relegated in 2007/08, but he twice narrowly avoided the drop as a Wolves player, as he did again with Wigan in 2011/12, and his experience in a relegation battle could be vital as the season goes on.
But he sees no signs of heads dropping just yet, and claims that the squad are as positive heading into today’s match as they have been all season.
“I think you probably look at it and think that we’d be despondent and not be positive,” added Jones, “but at this club since I’ve been here we’ve been a very positive squad, the manager and the staff have never dwelt on disappointments, we’re a very resilient bunch of players.
“Going into Saturday we’re feeling really positive, training has been really bright, we’ve been looking at things we’ve done in previous games when we’ve performed well and not quite got the result we thought we deserved and we’ve taken the positive out of that and I think we’re looking really energetic on the training field and feeling positive about the game.
“I think we came into the league realistic that we weren’t going to be winning games like we did last year, we were everyone’s favourites to go down and be struggling and in the position we are in, although we’re still hurting inside because the squad is so together it lifts everyone and keeps us positive. For the game on Saturday I think the lads are as positive as I’ve seen them this season.”
