GARY Bowyer has been nominated for the Championship manager of the month award after leading Blackburn Rovers on a four-match unbeaten sequence in October.
Rovers drew 0-0 at home to Huddersfield Town and 1-1 away to Ipswich Town before beating Birmingham City 1-0 at Ewood Park and Nottingham Forest 3-1 at the City Ground.
Rovers started this month with a 3-1 home win over Reading and a 2-2 draw at Millwall on Tuesday night that extended their run without defeat to six matches.
Bowyer’s rivals for the monthly prize are former Burnley boss Eddie Howe, whose Bournemouth side won all four of their games in October, Chris Powell, whose Huddersfield Town team won three and drawn two of their five matches, and new Fulham manager Kit Symons, whose side took 10 points from a possible 15.
The winner be announced tomorrow.
