BURNLEY are still looking for their first away win of the season after they slipped to an 18-3 defeat to Thornton Cleveleys.
Burnley have been rock solid at home, winning all three matches at Holden Road but have failed to take that form on the road, losing all four matches on their travels.
Defeat sees them slip to ninth in the table while Thornton rise up to fifth place.
In North Lancs Two, Colne and Nelson enjoyed a fine 22-14 win against Mossley Hill who are above them in the league table.
Colne have now won three and lost three of their six league matches.
Clitheroe also enjoyed a big winning, beating Newton-le-Willows 28-12 – their second victory of the season.
