Chorley Ladies 10 Tynedale 1
CHORLEY Ladies booked their place in the first round proper of the Women’s FA Cup with a resounding 10-1 victory over Tynedale.
The North East Premier League side were simply blown away by Chorley with Gabriella Difalco scoring five times and Vicky Coope adding a hat-trick.
Chorley, second in the Northern Women’s Combination, started slowly allowing their visitors time and space on the ball.
But they soon got in to their stride and following some neat, crisp passing Difalco opened the scoring with a long range effort.
She added a second soon after with another long range effort.
Vicky Coope then increased Chorley’s lead with a lob over the keeper then repeated the trick, this time from a tight angle.
Coope then turned provider as her inch perfect ball set up Kerry Wareing who picked her spot carefully.
Tynedale were deflated and Difalco struck again to seal a first half hat-trick and Chorley led 6-0 at the break.
And there was no let up after the break as Chorley continued to impress with the passing and movement.
Difalco started the second half as she had the first, with a goal and Coope completed her hat-trick to make it 8-0.
Sloppy passing allowed Tynedale to sneak a goal but Chorley replied with Difalco's fifth and Janet Dawson hit a powerful shot giving Chorley a 10-1 victory.
Chorley have been drawn at home to Rotherham in the first round with the tie to be played on Sunday, December 7.
