ARSENE Wenger was ‘very satisfied’ with Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Burnley after praising the Clarets’ fighting spirit.
The Gunners could not find the breakthrough for 70 minutes before Alexis Sanchez netted twice either side of a Calum Chambers goal.
Wenger said: “We had a strong team pressure and we had to intensity that in the second half.
“We did and slowly you could see the chances were coming and at the end it became easy once it was 2-0.
“But they did fight very hard and they didn’t make mistakes at the back.
“Overall I think it was a very satisfying win.
“Recently at home we did not get the results we wanted but for the confidence of the team as well it’s important to win without conceding a goal.”
