WELL the wait for that elusive first three points of the season just goes on and on.
Last week against West Ham United the problem was a slow start to the second half and an inability to stick away any of the umpteen chances that came our way in an impressive opening 45.

Yesterday, against an Everton side who had been kept busy with Europa League duties on Thursday night, we started the game slowly, were punished for some more slack defending and then didn’t create enough after the break.
One positive was a first Premier League goal for Danny Ings – the first by a Burnley striker this term – and a couple of spells where we caused problems for the Toffees.
Sean Dyche made a change bringing in Stephen Ward for Ben Mee but I’d have perhaps liked to have seen Nathaniel Chalobah come into the centre of midfield and Scott Arfield pushed out wide again.
Samuel Eto’o opened the scoring for the visitors with just four minutes on the clock, rounding off a passing move in which Roberto Martinez’s side moved the ball quickly and clinically from right to left by nodding past Heaton.
That took the wind out of our sails but a mistake at the other end gifted us a way back into it.
Romelu Lukaku's loose pass was seized upon by Lukas Jutkiewicz and he fed Ings who coolly rounded Tim Howard and slotted home.
Back level and the Turf was rocking.
Scott Arfield had a half-volley wide just a couple of minutes later and had that gone in then I am certain we'd have gone on to win it.
Dyche has spoken a lot about margins and when that shot fizzed wide, Everton clearly senses a chance to re-grab the initiative.
Lukaku made amends for his earlier slip by getting the decisive shot away to put the Toffees back in the lead and despite more pressure from the Clarets we went in 2-1 down at the break.
The most disappointing thing about yesterday's performance was our inability to create more in the second half.
As West Ham showed last week, if you get a good start after half time the game can swing.
Unfortunately we just weren't brave enough and by the time Eto'o had added a late third with a superb curling shot, the game looked up.
The Premier League is proving a massive step up but we have to be a bit braver.
Fortune favours the brave they reckon and by god we need a favour or two at the minute!
