DANNY Ings, David Jones and Kieran Trippier are all expected to be available for Burnley's home match against West Ham United on Saturday - but Matt Taylor is set for an operation on his Achilles.

Ings and Jones have been out with respective hamstring and thigh problem, while Trippier was stretchered off in Burnley's last match at Leicester City with an ankle injury.

But Clarets boss Sean Dyche has confirmed this afternoon that all three are likely to be available against West Ham along with Nathaniel Chalobah.

Dean Marney (hamstring) may still miss out though along with Steven Reid (groin).

Burnley are assessing the hamstring injury that forced Michael Keane off during England under 21s' play-off match against Croatia on Friday.

Dyche said: "Danny Ings has had a good week with us so he’s certainly in the thinking which we’re pleased about. He’s managed to get on the grass at the beginning of the week as well which is important because he’s fit to train with the group rather than throw him in at the last minute.

"Trips has had a good couple of days this week and comes back into contention. "Dean Marney is touch and go, maybe this one is too quick for him, but he’s been active this week.

"Jonah will be fit, Steven Reid is a minor groin and Chalobah is back in contention with the squad.

"Michael Keane is something out of nothing. It’s something he’s had before and we’re hopeful that he’ll at least be in with the squad tomorrow but we’ll see how he comes through today’s session."

Taylor has been absent recently with an Achilles problem and he will now require surgery, although Dyche was cautious about putting a time on his recovery.

Dyche said: "Matty Taylor unfortunately is going to have a minor operation. He’s got a niggling Achilles and it just hasn’t settled down.

"Nothing too serious in the grand scheme of things, but something that’s niggling.

"We’re not sure how long he will be out for. We’ll know more after the op, we’re hopeful he’ll go in Monday."
