The first of two floodlit competitions was held on Sunday at Ribblesdale Wanderers Cricket & Bowling Club Clitheroe.

This competition, now in its 21st year, was again kindly sponsored by Rectella International Limited – Barbequick.

Lee Evans & Mark Sheehy from Bolton beat Father & Son David & Ben Phillips from Manchester in the final 21-7.

After the first four ends Davie & Ben was 5-1 up, then after 8 ends it was 6-6. Mark was leading very well to take 11 – 6 lead, David & Ben pulled 1 back to make 7 – 11 then the Bolton pair got the block back scoring 2-2-4 and 2 at the last end to win the final.
