BLACKBURN Rovers have been forced to make two changes for this afternoon’s Championship clash at Wolves.
Left back Markus Olsson misses the Molineux match because of a family bereavement while striker Rudy Gestede has been ruled out after going over on his ankle in training yesterday.
Right back Adam Henley will play out of position in the absence of the in-form Olsson while centre midfielder Williamson will take the place of talisman Gestede who has netted 13 goals in his last 13 starts.
Williamson’s inclusion means Gary Bowyer is likely to switch to a 4-5-1 formation with Tom Cairney playing in the ‘hole’ behind lone forward Jordan Rhodes.
Rovers boss Bowyer is also without winger Josh King through illness.
But centre back Matt Kilgallon and striker Chris Brown, who is yet to kick a ball for the club following his summer switch from Doncaster, are named on the bench after overcoming injury.
Wolves, who are unbeaten in their last 14 league matches at home, name an unchanged team for the fifth league game running.
Wolves: Ikeme, Doherty, Batth, Stearman, Golbourne, McDonald, Evans, Van La Parra, Edwards, Sako, Dicko. Subs: McCarey, Henry, Saville, Clarke, Rowe, Ricketts, Jacobs.
Rovers: Robinson, Lowe, Hanley, Baptiste, Henley, Marshall, Williamson, Evans, Conway, Cairney, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Kilgallon, Dunn, Brown, Varney, Taylor, O'Connell.
