NIAMH Robinson has qualified for tonight’s semi finals of the 50m breaststroke.
The 14-year-old from Darwen, competing for the Isle of Man, was 16th fastest after finishing in fifth place in her heat with a time of 32.28secs, a new personal best for the swimmer.
Robinson, a member of Accrington-based Pioneer 79 Swimming Club member, will compete in the first semi scheduled for 8pm.
She has been joined by Isle of Man team-mate Laura Kinley who was 15th fastest.
Robinson, a former Avondale Primary School pupil, also competes in the 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 100m and 200m breaststroke and 200m individual medley.
