MELLOR Brook’s John Holden picked up points during a solid weekend at the British Sidecar Championship.
Holden and passenger Andy Winkle qualified in 11th place at Brands Hatch before moving up to seventh place in race one for the Blackburn-based Silicone Engineering team.
They followed that up with an eighth-placed finish in race two to earn a total of 17 points during the weekend.
Holden and Winkle now sit on 46 points after the first nine races of the season, putting them in 12th position in the championship.
Silicone Engineering were also represented in the National Superstock 600 Championship, with Malachi Mitchell-Thomas finishing in 11th place. Ben Stafford was 25th.
