BURNLEY striker Marvin Sordell believes settling in quickly at Turf Moor will help him find his best form when the Premier League season starts next month.
The former Bolton man found the net twice in the friendly win over Austrian outfit FC Grossklein last weekend and admits he was pleased to get off the mark so quickly.
He said: “It’s good to get off the mark so quickly, I’m here now and I just want to work hard and do all I can to show the gaffer that I’m ready to get into that team and be a part of the group as well.
“I’ve settled down quite quickly to be honest, the group that is here is great.
“It makes it a lot easier than it could be to settle into a team environment.
“It’s been a good week, it’s been a tough week but it’s good to spend a lot of time with the lads and get to know them.
“All the hard work we’ve put in whilst we have been here can only stand us in good stead for the season.”
